About The Department
The first batch of Aerospace Engineering commenced during the Academic year 2019 with an intake of 60. B.E (Aerospace Engineering) is an exciting fieldand is concerned with the development of aircraft and spacecraft. It has two major and overlapping branches namely Aeronautical engineering and AstronauticalEngineering.The four-year study culminating into eight,odd and even semesters,covering 64 subjects are taught by capable,qualified and industry experienced staff. Necessary infrastructure via laboratories, library books, necessary computer softwares have already been set upto enable students gain extensive knowledge and expertise in their subject of study. Satellite Design, Missile Design, Artificial Intelligence, Cryogenics, Robotics, Spacecraft Systems, Space Vehicle Design are some of the technologically advanced subjects which students study in the undergraduate programme and these subjects have huge employment potential. ISRO, BEL, Embraer GE Aviation, Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), Lock Heed Martin, Rockwell Collins, Rolls Royce are some of the Multinational giants who seek B.E (Aerospace Engineering) graduates and offers hefty pay package.
